Kojo Kwarteng is a seasoned journalist, public relations and corporate communications practitioner with over 20 years experience. Currently, he is the Head of Corporate Affairs Department of GCB Bank PLC, Ghana’s largest bank and former senior reporter of the Daily Graphic of the Graphic Communications Group Ltd, Ghana News Agency (GNA) and founder of Gemak Communications Ltd, Gemak Consult and contributed to the establishment of Super News Ghana Ltd and a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, USA, Institute of Public Relations, Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana and founding member of the Federation of Environmental Journalists, Ghana.

He holds a BSC in Business Administration, MBA- Marketing, Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM), Diploma in Journalism and Executive Education in Branding and Management from the University of Ghana, Legon, Central University, Mountcrest University College, University of Essex, UK, Ghana Institute of Journalism and Northwestern University/Kellogg Management Institute, Illinois, Chicago USA and certificates in communications, media management and relations, public relations and research from, South Africa, UK, USA. He attended Tarkwa Senior Secondary School (TARSCO) for his GCE Ordinary and Advanced levels.

Kojo was GJA’s Best Environmental Reporter in 2007 and other awards and honors including International Biodiversity Awards. He authored a book “Oil Cocoa Mines and many articles.

He is a member of the Assemblies of God Church, Christ Worship Centre, Sowutuom Accra and Motorway Chapter of the Full Gospel Men Fellowship International, a philanthropist, motivational speaker and youth coach.

He is married to Gifty and blessed with four children.
