Part-time Christian, Part-time Chica follows nine characters balancing religious devotion against the brutal realities of survival: Sisi Aku, a market queen and church pillar, sells adulterated food to her own community to keep her business alive. Kojo uses scripture to scam foreigners online, racing to pay for his mother’s medical bills. Purity exploits the vulnerability of church girls to serve his own hidden agendas.
From gambling and internet fraud to the quiet strains of managing Sickle Cell and PCOS, the crises of the streets bleed through the church walls. When a single incident forces all nine paths to collide, the pious facades collapse. This is a fast-paced social commentary on modern Ghana, exposing the compromises people make when morality clashes with sheer necessity.
