My Sister, My Enemy and Other Stories

Age Range: 8 – 15 years
This first book by Petra deGraft-Yankson, My Sister my Enemy, is a collection of five short stories written during the COVID-19 school break. Though written by a child, the themes do not exactly sound childish. This may be probably due to the fact that, she had too many adult stories to listen to, as well as adult events to witness, when she was staying at home with her parents, grandparents and elder siblings. This book may not contain the best of stories, but for Petra, this attempt is a glittering sign for big things to come.
