Dog and Cat prepared for their future by planting fifteen mango trees so they would rely on them for mango fruits in times of hunger. The only mango tree that survived bore many fruits.

Upon the instructions of Bat, the ripe mangoes that had fallen on the ground were collected by Monkey in a pot and kept on a tree where Monkey stayed.

A false attempt by the wicked Monkey to help Dog get to the top of the tree to get access to his mangoes resulted in a heavy fall that caused injuries to both Dog and Cat after the old and weak rope snapped when Dog climbed to the middle of the tree.

Eventually, Bat lost all the ripe mangoes he wanted to eat with his children.

Suitable for children at the basic level.
