The Ewe People: A Study of the Ewe People in German Togo
The Ewe of Ghana, Togo and Benin have been one of the most documented ethnic groups in West Africa, given their encounters with the German, French and British colonial administrations. In 1906, Jakob Spieth, a German Bremen Missionary, published Die Ewe-Stamme. Die Ewe-Stamme is one of the most comprehensive treatises on the history, religion, economic life, traditional social structure, and, indeed, the entire spectrum of everyday life of the Ewe. Published over 100 years ago the book had limited circulation and became increasingly rare to the extent that it almost became a deified piece of work and source of classified knowledge. Additionally, Die Ewe-Stamme was published in German and old non-standard and colloquial Ewe languages. It is hoped this translation of Die Ewe-Stamme into English and contemporary Ewe might create a revival of interest amongst researchers, enhance the understanding for the traditional Ewe culture and become reading material in schools and universities.

Augustine Kwasiga Younge: The Great Musician, Composer, Educator, Scouter and Counselor — The Pioneer in Revitalization and Africanization of the Catholic Liturgy and Mass in Ghana (Pre-Order)
**Available from 20 June 2022
When the Catholic Church realized the itching urge to inject more African Culture in her Christian worship to revitalize the Liturgy and Mass in the 1960s, Mr. A.K. Younge, alias “Master Younge,” in a solo effort revolutionized the Roman Catholic Church musical scene by initially replacing the “Old Latin Hymns” with traditional tunes accompanied by African musical instruments. As his determination persisted, he found himself in the greatest imbroglio as some church elders and musicians cast insinuations for what they believed to be anti-Christ (Catholic). With much encouragement from his dear wife Catherine Afiwor Younge and full support by the Papal See in Rome, Master Younge delved deeper. He came out with many compositions and innovations that provided the foundation that seemed to meet the aspirations and expectations of the awakened African Catholicism in Ghana and the Keta Diocese.
If traditional African drums, bells, and rattles are heard in Catholic churches today in Ghana, we must, with all certainty and reverence, remember the efforts of Master Younge. He made it happen. His Era’s selected contemporaries also covered include: Adalbert Kodjo Mensah Tibu, Philip Gbeho, Emmanuel Gakpo Gadzekpo, Togbe Afiatsoa II: Mr. George Kwame Akordor, and Cornelius Kofi Doe-Williams (alias CK).

From the Hut to Oxford: The Autobiography of the Most Reverend Peter Kwasi Sarpong (Hardcover)
From the Hut to Oxford clearly shows the huge impact that Archbishop Sarpong has made during his priestly and episcopal minstry, spanning forty-nine years from 1959 to 2008. His impact has been on the Catholic Church in Ghana, education, culture and religion. The relative understanding, harmony and cooperation among the religious bodies in the country – between the Catholic and non-Catholic Christians, between followers of Islam and Christians, etc. – can be attributed in no small measure to his unflagging endeavours in ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue. Happily, his effort in this regard. Happily, his effort in this regard has been universally acknowledged. In a world racked by religious bigotry, dissension and mayhem, he deserves more than a pat on the back. — Most Rev. Matthias Kobina Nketsiah, Emeritus Archbishop of Cape Coast

PCPC: Part-Time Christian, Part-Time Chica
In Accra, Sunday belongs to God, but Monday belongs to the hustle. Inside the True Light Assembly, the pews are packed with the devout. But on the streets of Ghana’s capital, faith doesn’t pay medical bills, and righteousness won’t keep a business afloat.
Part-time Christian, Part-time Chica follows nine characters balancing religious devotion against the brutal realities of survival: Sisi Aku, a market queen and church pillar, sells adulterated food to her own community to keep her business alive. Kojo uses scripture to scam foreigners online, racing to pay for his mother’s medical bills. Purity exploits the vulnerability of church girls to serve his own hidden agendas.
From gambling and internet fraud to the quiet strains of managing Sickle Cell and PCOS, the crises of the streets bleed through the church walls. When a single incident forces all nine paths to collide, the pious facades collapse. This is a fast-paced social commentary on modern Ghana, exposing the compromises people make when morality clashes with sheer necessity.₵150.00 -
Mr. Music Man: The Journey
From the breath-taking mountains, rolling hills and ranges of Obo, Kwahu, to Suhum and Darkuman, then traversing the nook and crannies of the country (Ghana) several times over, storming several West African countries, particularly Ivory Coast (now Cote D’Ivoire), before journeying to Europe to eke out a living through music by performing in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, and Norway, this is the phenomenal, thought-provoking and thoroughly enjoyable memoir of the legendary, evergreen music icon, Kojo Antwi aka Mr Music Man.
It is a painstaking account of how this highly decorated music star and cultural icon was chosen by music and his hitherto undocumented story of how he began his career as a singer in a band in the mid 1970s through to the late 1980s, an eventful journey which culminated in him becoming a solo artiste.
Mr Music Man: The Journey is an exciting and eye-opening account which lays bare bold and intimate details of the making of the man we have come to love, respect, and cherish for nearly five decades

Daniel: Faith Like Nobody’s Business
It is a beautiful rehash of the book of Daniel. It evolves as an engaging walk through of Daniel’s guiding principles for winning the battle of faith.
The reader is taken along on a privileged, intimate walk through of Daniel’s exemplary and legendary walk of faith and his diary of events – his life’s story and experiences – as documented in the book of Daniel. As the reader grants Daniel audience, he narrates the most deadly, yet beautiful faith story ever told. Daniel begins his story from his early days as a servant in King Nebuchadnezzar Palace and the numerous unpleasant encounters which ironically landed him in favorable positions instead.
The popular Daniel in the Lions’ Den story is captivating as we hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. As the story unfolds, his strong faith in God is undeniably evident in his determination to stick with God, regardless of any danger or threat to his life – even to the point of death. Daniel continues to stand tall in the many trials, temptations and difficulties he endures as he works under the three leaders who ruled the Babylonian Kingdom in succession.
We are enthralled as we observe Daniel beautifully waging and winning the war of faith… “like nobody’s business!”
