Osei Kwadwo was born in 1936 at Wiamoase. He was a former teacher who served in the Education Service from 1953 to 1993. He entered the service as a pupil teacher and rose through the ranks to Assistant Director of Education and Head of the Afigya Sekyere District of Education between September 1990 and March 1993.
Osei Kwadwo was the first curator of Manhyia Palace Museum in Kumasi from 1995- 2010.
