Tish Farrell was born in England. After school she studied archaeology and anthropology and worked in several museums. In 1992 she and her scientist husband went to Kenya for three months. They stayed eight years, living briefly in Zambia too. Now that she is back in England, East Africa still seems like home, and its peoples a source of inspiration and wisdom.
