• A Chase to the River

Mrs. Akyea had just the perfect punishment for Atsu, Atsupui, and Akoto.
The chief had given Mrs. Akyea a rundown of the events that had happened on the beach. She had just the perfect punishment for Atsu, Atsupui, and Akoto. Since the children had been brave enough in getting the smugglers arrested, she decided to reduce their punishment; they were to harvest tomatoes from the school farm the following day, Saturday, for just an hour. She informed the agriculture teacher about her plan to let the children work on the farm.
The teacher was excited as he needed help with the harvesting fortunately, the farmland was not salty and could thus grow vegetables. The tomatoes had grown beautifully and needed to be harvested as soon as possible.
