The Fourth John: Reign, Rejection & Rebound
Rated 5.00 out of 501An influential northern caucus is secretly meeting and grooming him to contest the man who will select him as a vice presidential candidate. A meeting between the first lady and the Brong-Ahafo caucus results in, perhaps, the fastest ministerial reshuffle in the history of the country. At 2a.m., before the breaking of a major scandal, there is a meeting between the president’s friend and the investigative journalist about how to involve the main opposition leader, in the story to minimise its damage to the president in the upcoming election. The wife of the president reports the wife of the vice president to the vice president’s mother. The night before a crucial election, the president and his main contender are locked up in a meeting with Ghana’s most revered traditional ruler.
These and other revealing accounts on governance, policies and programmes of the fourth presidency of Ghana’s Fourth Republic are the intriguing contents of this book. Here, the journalist whose investigations are believed to have contributed to the downfall of the administration gets brutally intimate with the regime.
Rare interviews with key figures of the governing party and historical contexts to contemporary events provide readers and students of African politics the inside story of what is considered the model democracy on the continent. The fluidity of the writing style and humour make this book about politics and governance in Ghana’s Fourth Republic both informative, educative and entertaining.

Rosina Aboagye Acheampong is one such mortal. From the precocity of her childhood, her dance with life has been one amazing ball of faith … and chance, nay, destiny. These captivating pages reel out the adventures of a pathfinder, a mould breaker and a pacesetter. Yes, her name might be synonymous with Wesley Girls, but be it at the national or community level, to list what she has achieved is to embark on the impossible.
Beautifully, however, Archie the Matriarch does not seem to see the power of her influence. She only wants to give thanks and praise.

E-Book: More Profitable Than Gold – Less Capital Needed
Rated 2.67 out of 503The purpose of this book is to help the new generation of African entrepreneurs embrace the reality of achieving higher net profit margins through investing and participating in the business of farming where less capital is needed.
This phenomenon will facilitate the creation of jobs and birth an agribusiness eco-system that would create wealth and hence improve the livelihoods of many in Africa.
According to the African Development Bank (AfDB), food importation into Africa as at 2017, stood at $35 billion and it is estimated that this figure will hit a staggering figure of $110 billion by the year 2025, if we continue the current trend of importation without giving much attention to the business of farming.
These statistics are alarming and justifies the call for African governments to take farming more seriously. Even though there are other businesses that are also more profitable than gold, this book focuses primarily on the Horticulture side of Agribusiness.
This book will give any “wannabe farmer” the acute knowledge to be able to start and run a profitable farm with little capital.

Contemporary Trends in the Law of Immovable Property in Ghana
The law of immovable property is concerned primarily with the relationships which exist between persons who hold, inter alia, interest in , title to or rights over immovable objects that are capable of ownership under a law in force at any one time. it is also inferentially, though comparatively minimally, concerned with the nature of such objects as well as the interest, title and rights that are permitted by the existing law t be held in such relevant objects. The law of immovable property is further concerned with a bundle of legal and institutional frameworks which regulate and manage the proprietary and other incidental matters pertaining to all that may be properly described as immovable property.

Money: An Excellent Gift of God – An Exposition on John Wesley’s Teachings on Money
“John Wesley has been revered but not carefully studied.” (Albert Outler)
This book therefore makes a contribution to unearthing the holistic ministry of Father John Wesley, much of which has been put on the back bench for a long time. As a Methodist Minister, I had known that he gave the following three rules about money “Gain All You Can; Save All You Can; Give All You Can” and not much beyond that.
Did you know that John Wesley described money as “neutral” and not “evil” as some Christians would make us believe? He wrote: “Let the world be as corrupt as it will, is gold or silver to blame? The fault does not lie in the money, but in them that use it. it may be used ill and what may not?”
Note the positive ways in which he describes money:
- The Excellent Talent
- ii) The Wise and Gracious Providence of God
- iii) The Valuable Talent
- The Precious Talent
- That Great Talent Money
- An Excellent Gift of God-(The Title of this Book)
Did you know how he summed up his teaching on Tithing? He wrote: “You are a Christian, not a Jew” encouraging liberality instead of following rules and giving the barest minimum.
I have founded the Movement for the Eradication of Poverty in Africa Through the Church (MEPAC) and this Exposition on John Wesley’s Teachings on Money is a welcome addition to my other books and teachings on the Eradication of Poverty from Africa. Get your copy and my other books in the MEPAC Series and follow my teachings on how we can solve Africa’s greatest problem − POVERTY.

Abraham Was Rich: Why Not You? (The Spiritual and Material Blessings of the Fathers, Volume 1)
A good man leaves an inheritance. – Proverbs 13:22
He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus. – Galatians 3:14
The blessings given to Abraham were not only spiritual but material as well, and they arose from Abraham’s blood covenant relationship with God.
This book, written in 3 volumes, shows how all the patriarchs or fathers who were the bearers of the Abrahamic covenant became materially rich and passed their prosperity onto the next generation.
Bishop Kantanka believes that Gentiles Christians, especially in Africa where poverty has become endemic, must claim their full inheritance spiritual and maternal through their covenant relationship with God in Christ as the Galatians passage says.
“The Poverty Gap is a Technology Gap and the Technology Gap is a Dominion Mandate Gap and that is linked to a people’s exercise of the creative ability of God in man,” Bishop Kantanka declares.
The book is the first workbook of the Rich Dad Club, a wing of the new ministry founded by the author − The Bishop Kantanka Teaching Ministry (see appendix for details). This book is a must-read for all who believe that African Christians must show the way that will lead to the blessing of our continent, both spiritually and materially.

Banking Management and Operations
Banking books commonly focus on the management of the bank and its financial statement. Such books are specialized reading for students of bank management or administration.
This book, ‘Banking Management and Operations ‘, do not ‘teach’ banking; it rather elicits some of the weaknesses and challenges in banking management and practices that relate to their day-to-day transformation. It, therefore, suggests sacred considerations for added efficiency by tightening the loose screws in operations and management practices. It looks at the need for customer protection, satisfaction, and customer confidence which have become more crucial. This is critical in 21st-century business practices which sometimes assume that high fliers, profit rankers, spectacular achievers; or words, attitudes, and actions of Management and Personnel are conducted with honesty and goodness.
Let us remember that for every credibility gap, there is a gullibility filled with miscreants hovering around them.
The book provides simple professional tools to integrate specific functional thoughts in banking operations and management in one shell. It also forewarns practitioners, students, and consumers that banking business threats are like growing viruses in all forms, in the face of rising financial crime waves, cybercrime, money laundering and terrorist activities.
The two critical functions, management and banking operations have been selected to run through the book. They clearly identify with each chapter and show how their interplay can make things happen in order to meet strategic objectives or reasonably protect stakeholders.
The chapters cover a collection of banking concepts, relevant strategic management information requirements and related job functions that fit into bank specific enterprise risk management.
Clearly, identified and appropriate ICT application platforms products and services within banking legal framework and conventions are offered. The value propositions answer the question:
‘How do we protect customers’ monies and provide satisfying services to them.’
