Dr. Okoe Boye is a medical practitioner by profession with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Health in the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. He also holds an MBA from the Accra Business School and is currently working towards a Professional Executive Masters in Appropriate Dispute Resolution.
He was the Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency in Ghana’s 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic.
In 2018 he was appointed as the Board Chairman of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, the largest hospital in Ghana.
At the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020, the President, H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo appointed him as the Deputy Minister of Health.
He is married with three children. Dr Okoe Boye is a Christian with special interest in Community Health, the evolution of Lifestyle Diseases and Public Policy Formulation. He is also the author of High Blood Pressure in Black People.
