Dr. Maame Yaa Bosuo Norman was born in Kumasi, Ghana. She completed her Elementary (Morning Star) and Secondary/High (Mfantsiman and Achimota)
school education in Ghana. She obtained her Ordinary Level and Advanced
Level Certificates at Achimota School.

Dr. Norman obtained her undergraduate degree from Hampton University and
her doctorate from Carnegie Mellon University, both in Chemical Engineering,
in the United States. Dr. Norman has worked in Corporate America for over 10 years. She currently spends her time as a Professor at her local Technical colleges and also a Robotics coach at the middle school her sons attend.
Dr. Norman is a Mother, a Wife, a Chemical Engineer, a Robotics Coach, a Professor and a Mentor. She is very passionate about educating our next generation of leaders and highlighting the importance of listening to our learners.

    The book provides insights from students at Achimota Secondary School in 2018. Singapore’s educational system, considered the best in the world, was adopted as a benchmark, against which some educational proposals have been made.
