H. Nii-Adziri Wellington, a professor emeritus of the Department of Architecture, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, is a Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences and a cultural heritage activist.
As a scholar, he has published extensively in the disciplines of architecture, urban design, housing and cultural heritage. To date, he has to his credit over 100 published papers, journal articles, mimeographs, technical reports and exhibition brochures, including recent publications. Since 2009, he has been on post-retirement contract in the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Studies, University of Ghana, where, as a part-time lecturer, he is currently teaching and researching in Heritage Issues and Monuments Conservation as well as Architecture in Autism. Outside of academic work, he is an avid Bible Teacher.
Wellington is happily married with three adult children.
