A native of Botoku in the Volta Region, Mrs. Enyonam Keteku attended Achimota School from 1961 to 1968. She proceeded to the University of Ghana, Legon, where she read B.A. (Honours) in French Language and Literature. Further studies in France and other francophone countries prepared her for a career as a Teacher, Inspector, Writer and Editor of French. In 2001, she obtained her Master of Philosophy in Adult Education.

Since 2004, Mrs Keteku has written ten books for the teaching and learning of French at different levels. She played a key role in preparing the Senior High School syllabus in French between 1992 and 2002. Her first book is La Famille Ntow.

    This reader has authoritative approval of the Textbooks Committee of Ghana Education Service since 1993 and is recommended for use by Junior and Senior High Schools.     La Famille Ntow is full of everyday language in a familiar Ghanaian context. The most common verbs have been conjugated in the major tenses and there are useful exercises with answers, besides a rich vocabulary which gets one to speak good French in no time.
