Emmanuel E. K Awumee is a start-up Business Development Analyst, the Lead
Facilitator of SESIL Entrepreneurial Coffee Session and the CEO of SESIL Ventures.
He is a product of University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa and an award-winning
professional in Automobile Engineering from the City and Guilds of London Institute.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a certificate in Administration and
Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration -
GIMPA. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport - CILT
Ghana. As a Business Entrepreneur, he has successfully managed a “cashless” start-up
business that has evolved in two decades of practical entrepreneurial experiences. He lost
his successful business in the eighth (8th) year from its inception, went bankrupt for four
(4) years and revived his lost business from bankruptcy to solvency in eight (8) years and
still counting. His successful rejuvenation, coupled with some major structural reforms
and rebranding, with emphasis on customer service, led him to win the Customer Service
Leader of the Year 2019/2020 and his company, SESIL Ventures, winning the Customer
Service Organization for the Year 2019/2020. His in-depth knowledge and experience
acquired through his entrepreneurial journey led him to initiate the SESIL Entrepreneurial
Coffee Session - A human capital development initiative in entrepreneurship.
