Belinda N. Lamptey is an attorney in Washington D.C. USA. Born in April, this Taurean spent most of her childhood years in the West African country of Ghana. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in French from the University of Ghana, Legon, a Juris Doctorate from the University of South Dakota School of Law and an L.L.M. from the George Washington University Law School.

Ms. Lamptey is a published poet and the author of "Little Drops of Water" (2006) - a children's book about Nature. When she is not writing, you will find her in her kitchen, cooking or baking.

Charlotte S. Akyeampong spent more than 40 years as an academician molding the lives of young men and women at many high schools in Ghana, West Africa including Wesley Girls High School, Achimota School and the Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (PRESEC) teaching English and English Literature. At PRESEC, where she tenured for more than 30 years, she was at a point the Assistant School Principal and the head of the Drama/Theater Club. Her love for reading and writing was legendary and she wrote and directed many plays as well as poetry. She is an acclaimed playwright with many staged and published plays including "The Search" and "When the Child Fell ill". Writing this career counseling book for the young ones with her daughter-in-law was one of the exciting projects she embarked upon during her retirement.
