CNN Lokko

CNN Lokko is the pen name for Christine Naa Norley Lokko-Richter. She is a wife, mother of three boys, professor of political science, author, actor and playwright. CNN Lokko attended the University of Ghana for her Bachelor's in English; East Stroudsburg University for her Master's in Political Science and West Virginia University for her doctorate in Political Science. She teaches undergraduate courses in American Government and Public Administration.

CNN's first attempt at writing was at age fifteen, when she entered a national play writing competition organized by the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation in 1993. Her first play Lost Africa, a critique of neocolonialism, earned the fifth position. She has since written and directed many plays for churches in Ghana and the United States. CNN Lokko is the founder of Sheaves of Grace Theatre Troupe, a national non-denominational drama group based in the United States.

CNN branched into the area of fiction in 2008. Her first published novel: "Trinity High: Students in Crime" is the first in a series of novels about life in an all-girl's secondary school boarding house. Her second published novel, "Adventures of Elizabeth Sam" is a collection of short stories about five Ghanaian children with a passion for adventure. Her third published novel, "Trinity High: Back to School" is the second in the Trinity High Series. Her latest novel "Changes" was a collaborative venture. CNN Lokko has also published short stories: "Honeymoon", "Homecoming" and "Sally".
