The journey to the village of Kotoku brought smiles to the faces of Madam Tawa and her two children. One their return home, they saw an accident involving a car which made the children worried and sad.

J.B. Pokoo-Aikins is a Senior Police Officer who attended St. Augustine's College, Cape Coast and acquired his Master's Degree in Library Studies at the University of Ghana, Legon and a Bachelor's Degree in Publishing at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He has other qualificationsin Law Enforcement. The author is a native of Cape Coast and currently a Ghana Police Librarian and a Directing Staff at the Ghana Police College, Accra, Ghana.

He has written other children's storybooks including 'Police Friends and the Troubled Children', 'Our Safe Future' and 'Firefighters and the Sad Festival'. His interests are in the fight against bribery, corruption and indiscipline, children's safety as well as helping Ghanaian farmers to uplift their morale and image.
