This is a Ghanaian folktale which tells the story of how the Cat, who used to live in the wild, came to live with man at home.

The fashion-loving Cat lost his designer and friend, Hare, through a flight he had with the Antelope. The Cat made new friends but lost them one after the other. The rest of the animals in the forest conspired to kill the Cat since they saw him to be the cause of all the deaths.

The unhappy Cat decided to seek refuge with man in order to avoid his death; but how does he find man and what happens when he is taken home?
