Dog Care provides some fundamental guidance on dog keeping, taking into consideration the climatic, nutritional and economic conditions of Ghana. Significantly, it provides comprehensive, informative and practical guidelines for both the old and the uninitiated dog owner.

The book also emphasises the importance of immunisations, human/dog relationship and the mutual love and security emanating from such a relationship. A special chapter focuses on zoonoses (infectious diseases transmitted between animals and human beings) and how they can be prevented.

This book will appeal to those who own dogs, would-be dog owners, students of veterinary colleges, animal health/science institutions, medical schools and the general public. Dog Care is the most essential millennium guide in canine matters and public health in general.
