    We have therefore taken the pain to assist candidates with this book entitled “Integrated Science Inscope Practical Q/A for JHS” The book consists of practical questions covering all 45 topics in the new Integrated Science Syllabus (2012).

    It is noteworthy that the structure of the textbook follows the new curriculum which is a standard-based one.

    Facilitators are encouraged to use the textbook to facilitate learning in the classroom. They must teach using hands-on and minds-on approaches which learners will find as fun.

    The textbook in achieving the aim of the curriculum is intended to develop learners to be literate, good problem solvers with the ability to think creatively and have both the confidence and competencies to participate fully in both the Ghanaian and global society.

    Much effort was made to ensure that the appropriate psychological principles that would enhance effective learning were considered in the selection and writing of the materials.

    It is our hope that the product of this effort, that is the textbook, would meet the needs of both facilitators and learners and to help them to translate classroom interactions into effective learning.
