Dr. Shafic Suleman, Ph.D., MSc., BA., ERP., is a full-time Senior Lecturer at the Institute for Oil and Gas Studies, University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Dr. Shafic Suleman is the programmes coordinator for Petroleum and Energy Management Studies programmes (MSc, MPhil and PhD) at the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Professorial Chair Center of Excellence at the University of Cape Coast. Dr. Suleman is also an Adjunct lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Shafic specialises in energy economics, petroleum economics, energy management, energy and sustainability, energy and development, climate change and risk management. He has been involved in teaching, research and consultancy services in petroleum and energy management over the past decade globally and in Ghana. Shafic holds a PhD in Energy and Sustainability from De Montfort University in Leicester, United Kingdom. Shafic is a certified Energy Risk Professional (ERP) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), United States of America (USA), with an MSc in Energy Management from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, UK and a BA in Geography from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. Dr. Shafic Suleman has several publications in top journals and attended many international conferences in the petroleum and energy management field.
