As one of the PCs pioneers, Femi Akomolafe ran a Computer Consultancy firm in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, for several years, where he set up the first African Bulletin Board System (BBS), the precursor to the Internet.
Femi has been very active in the Pan African Movement since the early 1990s. He established the first Black Newspaper, The African, in the Netherlands in the 1990s.
A passionate Pan-African writer, Femi is a columnist for ModernGhana and a Correspondent for the London-based New African magazine.
He is the author of several books, including the popular Africa: destroyed by the gods, and Africa: it shall be well. His latest book 18 African Fables and Moonlight Stories was published in September 2019.
Femi now shuttles between the Netherlands and Ghana where he had an Audio/Video Studio. He was the producer and the Anchor of the TV Interview Programme FOCUS ON AFRICANS which ran for several years on the MultiTV station.
He is currently engaged in vegetable farming.
