Felix Kofi Boakye Afrifa is a chartered insurance practitioner and lawyer. He has spent all his professional life so far in the insurance industry, where he initially worked as an underwriter and has been in a managerial role for over a decade. He is an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), London, UK and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG). He obtained his first degree, a Bachelor of Science in Administration (Insurance Option), from the University of Ghana, Legon and holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Business Consulting and Enterprise Risk Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. He is a product of KNUST Faculty of Law where he obtained his LLB (Hons) degree and the Ghana School of Law. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) having been called to the Ghana Bar in 2023. This book is a product of Felix’s insatiable interest in the development of the insurance industry in Ghana, especially in regard to the law and principles underpinning the practice of insurance.
