Dapo Adeleke was born in Ile-Ogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. He was educated at St. Matthew’s Anglican Primary School, Onipanu, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State and the University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. He graduated in 1985 with Honors Degree in English.

Dapo Adeleke currently resides in Lagos. He was a Senior Management Staff of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) between 1999 and 2004. He at present works as the Director of Administration in a Ministry.
