Clement Kojo Akapame is a Senior Lecturer at the Law Faculty of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration where he lectures in Commercial Law. He is also a Partner at TaylorCrabbe where he leads the law firm’s corporate and commercial practice. Clement has over a decade of experience in law and development practice where he consults for both local and international clientele in institutional and regulatory reforms, forestry legislation and constitutional law. Since graduating from the then Faculty of Law of the University of Ghana, Clement has worked with agencies such as the DFID, USAID and UNDP in direct engagement and on a consultancy basis by offering legal advice and technical research services.
Clement holds a BSc. Business Administration (Banking and Finance), LL.B from the University of Ghana and an LL.M with subject concentrations in global constitutionalism and international finance from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the USA. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association. He is married to Edith Yaaba Swanzy (Dr.), and they are blessed with two amazing children – Myla-Anne and Nathan-Ivan
