Delivery Information
We dispatch orders 6 days a week. We do not dispatch on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Booknook.store is committed to fulfil all customer orders in the shortest possible time. We generally estimate that most orders will be delivered within 3-5 days if outside Accra/Tema (via EMS of Ghana Post) and 3-7 days for most international destinations, via DHL Global Delivery. We deliver within 24 hours in Accra/Tema if items are in stock and 2-3 days if products need to be ordered from publishers/suppliers.
Although we regularly dispatch orders on the next working day, unfortunately we cannot give you a delivery window or guarantee delivery on a particular day. This is because we want to ensure that our environmental impact is as low as possible. So instead of sending a vehicle, say across Accra/Tema, for one delivery, we group deliveries together to ensure a minimal footprint.
Dispatch is made within 24 hours (we don’t dispatch/deliver on Sundays and holidays) for books within our in-house stock; 48 hours when procured from suppliers. We dispatch at 5pm each day for next day delivery so orders confirmed (paid for) before 5pm will be delivered next day. After 5pm goes into the next dispatch window (2 days later).

Where we deliver
Within Accra/Tema
We deliver within Accra/Tema for a charge. We use our delivery partner Mantra Couriers who typically deliver within 24 hours after dispatch of packages. We deliver generally within 48 hours after order is paid for.
The boundaries of the capital (for our purposes) are:
- Weija on the Cape Coast stretch
- Tema Community 25 on the Aflao stretch
- Tema Community 22 on the Akosombo stretch
- Pokuase on the Kumasi stretch
Dawhenya, Afienya, Kasoa and Kuntunse and beyond fall under Outside the Capital and are serviced by EMS/Ghana Post.
Outside the Capital, within Ghana
We deliver in Ghana outside the capital for a charge via EMS/Ghana Post. For a few destinations (indicated at checkout), we use DHL, STC and VIP Transport Parcels Office. This includes all regions. For deliveries outside the capital and across Ghana, we partner primarily with EMS/Ghana Post, who deliver door-to-door or to the nearest Post Office, from where you will be contacted for pickup.
International (outside Ghana)
Shipping fees for international deliveries are weight-destination based. we ship internationally through our delivery partner DHL Express. You can estimate shipping costs by adding to cart, proceeding to checkout and entering delivery address (country, city etc). The shipping costs are calculated based on quantity of books, weight of books and destination.
